Minus Kle is the solo project of Cologne-based musician Kay Lehmkuhl. Unlike his main band Alpentines, he chooses a reduced approach on the "Minus Kle" titled debut EP - hook-based, approachable. These songs also aim at adult pop, with strong RnB borrowings and tonally liberated moments. Musical reference points like Frank Ocean or Sufjan Stevens show up in a measured way in the five tracks.
